STG Global is a new name when it comes to the supply of quality work trucks and modules for the construction and related industries, but its key people have an impressive industry pedigree that ensures a quality product that has met with immediate acceptance from buyers.
The founders of the business have a contracting background, and as a result have strong views built up over many years of experience in the industry (often in remote areas) of what is required in terms of materials, components and build quality to produce trucks and modules that are durable and functional but still affordable.
The current range of trucks include:
Fitter trucks (range of options including welder, tool storage, fuel & lube tanks, crane)
Diesel refuelling trucks (up to 15,000 litres, transfer rates to 600 litres/minute)
Lube trucks (fully bunded, waste tank, range of sizes and options, including crane, ROPS, handrails)
Water trucks (to 18,000 litres, front, rear & batter sprays, water cannon option, fully baffled)
Vacuum excavation trucks (3000 – 8000 litres spoil capacity)
The modules can be supplied fitted to a truck of the customer’s choice, or as a module for the customer to fit. Relationships with OEMs and STG Global’s volume of business mean that it can source new vehicles at competitive prices, but it can also source good used vehicles and refurbish them as required.
A team of people with broad experience in fabrication, product sales and support and administration has been brought together. The success of this has seen the current Coomera facility full to capacity and a second facility will be opening in August 2017 at Ormeau to cater for the level of demand. This will become STG Global’s head office.
The STG quality starts with the steelwork, which is fully hot dip galvanised. It extends to the choice of components – all leading brands supported around the world, as the company is already supplying export markets and this is an area that is expected to build significantly.
An example of the choice of quality components is that the vacuum excavation trucks use Cat Engines, Gardner Denver Blowers and Graco Parts across a range of bodies. As an OEM, STG Global carries full stock of a wide range of components – both self-manufactured and from select suppliers. This ensures that supply is available to quickly complete preparation of vehicles for delivery to customers but to also provide after sales support in the event of a breakdown: something that should be uncommon given the reputation of the parts suppliers.
STG Global has its own service support people or carefully chosen third parties to support its machine in its key markets, and will add to these arrangements as the field population builds in both numbers and geographic distribution.
STG has now implemented an online truck parts shop to provide convenient 24/7 parts supply access not only to its own customers but also owners of other brands looking for a reliable, cost-effective parts alternative.
