STG Global Waste Truck: Diamond Back Rear Loader Garbage Truck

STG Global is excited to announce that our Newway Diamond Back Rear Loader has been handed over to the Accident Compensation Corporation (“ACC”) in Samoa. This marks the beginning of a promising partnership, dedicated to promoting safety and building community resilience. The delivery of this powerful waste truck is just the first step in a remarkable journey towards achieving our shared goals. It signifies the initiation of a meaningful partnership committed to safety and community resilience.

One of the Accident Compensation Corporation’s mandates is injury prevention. It strives to promote safety in workplaces, and recreational free time with particular emphasis on road users. Sanitary and hygiene is part of Safety. This is the reason why ACC had to purchase a brand-new garbage truck. It collects about six tonnes of rubbish every week from its fresh fruits and vegetables market alone. Some of this rubbish is organic green waste from plants and crops. The segregation is done using marked bins which this garbage truck will be allocated days for collecting normal rubbish with one day to collect the organic green waste for composts. ACC believes that safety comes with a clean, beautiful and eco-friendly environment.

At STG Global, safety is an integral part of our operations. Our shared commitment to safety aligns with ACC’s mission to support a social insurance scheme emphasising prevention, compensation, and rehabilitation.

ACC sent emails to international companies that manufacture garbage trucks in the United States of America, New Zealand and China. However, for Australia; (a family member) Ms. Hellen Davies of Revolution Motorhomes/Future RV Designs which manufactures mobile homes in the State of Queensland, Australia was asked to assist. She sent the contacts of Australian garbage truck manufacturers.

An assessment of proposals received from the manufacturers in Australia and China led the Board of Directors of ACC to recommend STG Global. The ACC Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Tuaopepe Jeremy Wallwork stated that,

“STG’s proposal was well written, its website not only illustrated its many functions, but its garbage trucks are state of the art”.

Cabinet approved AU$208,100 dollars to purchase the STG garbage truck brand.

The collaboration with ACC, an organisation dedicated to social insurance, is of great significance. As our waste truck heads towards Samoa, it represents more than just the delivery of machinery. It signifies our shared commitment to creating safer and more resilient communities.
